  18. TIMELOCK.CNF is the required filename for Unregistered users.  Registered 
  19. users may name this file as they please.  Registered users may pass the name
  20. of the "CNF" file on the command line when TimeLock is called.  If no name
  21. is passed TIMELOCK.CNF will be assumed.

  23. Line 1:  Path to BBS system file.
  24. Enter the path to the BBS system files for this node.

  26. Line 2:  BBS Name
  27. Enter your BBS Name as you wish it to appear to your users.

  29. Line 3:  0=Gap/1=PC Board and everything else
  30. Enter a 0 for Gap BBS systems.  Enter a 1 for everything else.  Remember
  31. that your BBS system must be able to create a DOOR.SYS in order to function
  32. properly with TimeLock.  If this is an optional feature in your system, make
  33. sure that it is implemented for each door that you wish to protect with
  34. TimeLock.

  36. Line 4: Maintain TimeLock Log file? Y/N (Registered Users only)
  37. If you are a registered user you may create and maintain a log of who attempts
  38. to access the doors you have protected with TimeLock by entering "Y" on this
  39. line.  The usage log will contain the date, user name, password provided, the
  40. time, and whether or not the password was valid.  Shareware users should
  41. place a "N" on this line.

  43. Line 5: Read Password/CallerId from .SYS file? Y/N (Registered Users only)
  44. Registered users  may enter a "Y" here to retrieve the caller ID (user name) 
  45. or users logon password AUTOMATICALLY from the .SYS file, without any user 
  46. intervention.  This is ideal for NetMail HUBs as no change will be required
  47. in your callers mail scripts. If you enter "N" the caller will be prompted 
  48. to enter a password when TimeLock is run.  Shareware users should place a 
  49. "N" on this line.

  51. Line 6: Exit errorlevel for invalid caller/timeslot.
  52. If you are a registered user you may specify the errorlevel (between 1 and 
  53. 255, or DTR) that you wish TimeLock to exit with if the caller is not valid
  54. for the protected timeslot.  If the caller is valid for the timeslot, or if 
  55. the timeslot is open, TimeLock will exit with an errorlevel of 0.  If DTR is 
  56. specified, TimeLock will disconnect any callers out of their time slot for 
  57. you.  Valid errorlevels for Shareware users is either 0 or 255.

  59. Line 7: Validate on PASSWORD or CALLERID.
  60. Enter PASSWORD to validate callers based on the password provided or retrieved.
  61. Enter CALLERID to validate callers based on the CallerID provided or retrieved.

  63. Line 8: Path and file name of screen for valid callers & display seconds.
  64. Enter the full path and filename (no extension) for the screen/message to be 
  65. shown if a caller is in their timeslot follow by a comma and the number of 
  66. seconds to pause after displaying the file.  There should be an ASCII and
  67. ANSI file. For example:  if E:\NODE4\GOOD is on this line, there should be 
  68. a GOOD. file in ASCII and a GOODG. file in ANSI.  You should specify
  69. the word "NONE", a comma "," and a 0 to disable the display. You may also
  70. specify "M" for the display seconds and TimeLock will require a key press 
  71. from the caller to continue.

  75. shown if a caller is not their timeslot followed by a comma and the number 
  76. of seconds to pause after displaying the file.  There should be an ASCII 
  77. and ANSI file as described for Line 8 or, you may also specify NONE, for
  78. the filename and/or "0" for the display seconds or "M" to require a manual
  79. keypress from the caller.

  81. Line 10: Path to screen for callers in open slot & display seconds.
  82. Enter the full path and filename (no extension) for the screen/message to 
  83. be shown if a caller is in an open timeslot followed by a comma and the 
  84. number of seconds to pause after displaying the file.  There should be an 
  85. ASCII and ANSI file as described for Line 8 or,  you may  specify NONE,
  86. for the filename and/or "0" for the display seconds or, "M" to require a
  87. manual keypress from the caller to continue.

  89. Line 11: Exempt Security Level. (Registered Users only)
  90. If you are a registered users you may enter the security level that you
  91. wish to exempt for TimeLocks protection.  Note that it will exempt the level
  92. enter AND ALL HIGHER LEVELS.  This feature allows you to permit groups of
  93. people unrestricted access without having to establish a TimeData record
  94. for each one.  If you do not wish to exempt any level enter a number higher
  95. than your highest security level.  If you are a Shareware user enter 255 on
  96. this line.
